On the Montgomeryshire and Shropshire borders 3 miles south of Welshpool you’ll find me restoring furniture in my converted cow shed alongside my 17th century Welsh long house. Relocating here in 1999 from the city of Bath enabled me and my then young family to enjoy the countryside and life in the Welsh and English borders. For myself personally I could achieve my dream of working from my own workshops and also be there for my family. In the last 23 years I have built up a reputation for quality workmanship with a personal service at competitive rates. The heart of my business is antique furniture restoration and I pride myself on the use of traditional methods, materials and polishes to regain the original patina and character of any piece,skills and knowledge that only experience brings. I am often asked to restore family heirlooms for future generations to enjoy and cherish which I love doing! 'Modern' items are also welcomed, every piece of furniture that visits my workshop is treated with the care and respect it deserves.
